Are courses like this expensive to develop? 

The cost of a course very much depends on its scale. It is possible to deliver very simple online interventions where content has already been created, for those who wish to capitalise on the benefits of internet-delivery.  This kind of solution is the least expensive. 

On the other end of the scale, you could want us to manage the development of the intervention, incorporating the expertise of consultants for design and presentation of content.  This would be an high-end solution, but one that would be more suitable for projects with potential for large-scale distribution.         

In sum, prices vary widely according to a number of factors:

  1. The level of interactivity. We divide content into four levels of interactivity, ranging from the fairly static, online book, to fully interactive multi-media content.
  2. The readiness of your content for translation to the web. This means whether it is age-appropriate, web-appropriate, and does it maximise potential for comprehension.
  3. Whether there is a need for additional subject matter experts or relevant accredited clinical psychologists.
  4. The size of the planned distribution and accompanying materials. For example; an accompanying cdrom / dvd, or printed materials / books.
